Kentucky Jobline
Call Toll Free -- 866-842-9145
With Jobline, job seekers can now use any keypad telephone to have the latest job openings spoken to them over the phone by a computerized job bank system.
Persons who do not have or cannot use standard computers now have a convenient and easy-to-use access alternative to job information.
To use the system, simply call the toll free number and follow the voice instructions. On your first call, you will create a personal profile specifying the type of job sought and a geographical location. Thereafter, you may call anytime to perform a custom search finding only the job openings meeting your requested criteria. Job data is nationwide and is updated daily. The search results are spoken to you over the phone using computerized speech technology. Various options to control the spoken report are available to you by using the telephone keypad.
You can retrieve only the new and relevant job listings posted since your last call or retrieve previously stored announcements.
Job information is instantly available on the telephone 24
hours a day. Job announcements are in a high-quality synthetic speech
format instead of printed text. With Jobline, the only equipment needed is
your telephone, and, the service is free.
For specific instructions on using Jobline, refer to "Using
Jobline - A Ready Reference Guide".
